You'll see "naturally alkaline" on a lot of water labels these days, and it's worth knowing what the phrase actually means, because there are two very different ways a water can end up there.
Some brands add alkalizing minerals or run water through a machine to raise its pH after the fact. Crazy Water gets there a different way. Its alkalinity comes from the natural mineral content it picks up passing through rock formations at the source in Mineral Wells, Texas. Nothing is added afterward, the pH is simply a reflection of what's already dissolved in the water.
That's the distinction that matters: engineered alkalinity versus alkalinity that's just a natural byproduct of where the water came from.
If you're curious what naturally alkaline water actually tastes like, it's worth trying for yourself.
